The Marc, a street retail and apartment building at 3885 State St., is up for sale free and clear of debt without an asking price, according to Commercial Search.
Just completed this year, the $40 million building has 89 luxury apartments and 2,500 square feet of space on an acre and half lot.
The resort-style apartments range from 613 to 990 square feet in the one, two or three-bedroom units. The four-story building has a fitness center, sundeck, community garden, fire pit spa, pool and horseshoe bocce courts.
Commercial Search says investors should base their offer on the “as is, where is” condition of the Property.
The grounds used to be home to Grace Lutheran Church and hotel, which were demolished. The Marc also has127 parking spaces for residents and 90 for bikes. The building is next to La Cumbre Plaza.
Developers hoped to attract tenants in their 20s and 30s. City officials said the Marc was the first large, or high-density, rental housing community seen in many years.
