Topics and panelists have been named for the next Quarterly Cannabis Workshop and Networking event sponsored by the Law Firm of Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck planned for 6 to 8 p.m. April 18 at Impact Hub, 1117 State St., Santa Barbara.
Topics discussed will include:
- trends in retail, hot products and brands;
- California’s role in the global cannabis industry;
- the media perspective;
- update on cannabis regulations in Santa Barbara County.
Rodney Medina, of Green Flower Media, 805 Cannabis Society will moderate the panel.
Panelists include: Chelsea Sutula, of Sespe Creek Collective; Collin Dvorak, of San Marcos Consulting, Santa Barbara Cannabis Alliance; and Jay Higgins, of H&H Environmental.

The last such event in January drew some 100 cannabis industry members who heard discussion of a variety of topics, including land-use issues in Santa Barbara County, a hearing on “Wine vs. Weed in Santa Ynez Valley;” brand protection; and DNA plant-testing innovation.
