New Hispanic Chamber Welcomes Mexican Consul

Newly appointed Mexican Consul General Euclides del Moral Arbona for the Central Coast was given a hearty welcome Jan. 15 from the Greater Santa Barbara Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. 

Del Moral Arbona told a crowd of about 80 that he welcomes to updated trade treaty between the United States and Mexico, which would replace the decades-old NAFTA agreement.

The newly formed Greater Santa Barbara Hispanic Chamber of Commerce has planned a series of business networking mixers through the end of the year.

The next mixer is planned for 5 to 7:30 p.m. Feb. 12 at Alebrije Oaxacan Arts & Craft Store, 2915 De la Vina St., Santa Barbara.
