Black Friday 2020 in downtown Santa Barbara saw some long retail store lines, but also at least one new pop-up at 931 State St. that will remain open through Christmas Eve and then on to Jan. 3.
The Locals Collective is home for now to RoHo, a socially minded company found by San Marcos High graduate Caleigh Hernandez, and a launching pad for other small businesses.
Locals Collective is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday an 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
RoHo is known for marketing accessories and foot ware from Africa artisans. Local Collective also takes private appointments Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. See [email protected]
Some Black Friday lines of patrons did appear for a time outside some State Street stores, but there was no mad crunch as in years past.
